As you wake up, you shake the sleep from your eyes and look around. You find yourself in what appears to be a dirty cell. The walls of the cell appear to be absolutely covered in dried blood, and you’re lying on a straw pallet, which is very uncomfortable, and the feel of it makes your skin crawl. You groggily sit up – you have no recollection of where you are or how got here. There’s a small window near the ceiling, from which you can see the sky, and there’s a rotted skeleton covered in rags in the corner. It looks like the meat of the skeleton was chewed off by something – or someone.
You can just barely look out the window, and from there you can see that you’re either at the top (or close to the top) of a tower perched at the edge of a steep cliff – with water as far as your eye can see.
